Other Facilities
There are a host of facilities available that are offered for easy and smooth pre and post funeral rituals at Nigambodh Ghat. These include availability of cremation samigari, waiting halls, prayer halls, drinking water etc. The aim of the society is to provide the deceased family a single window service support, to reduce running around at that difficult time.
Asthi Bank Lockers
228 No. Asthi Bank lockers are available at Nigam Bodh Ghat of safe storage of Asthis. They can be kept in the locker for a maximum of 15 days after which they are immersed in water.
Asthi Visarjan
A special Ghat has been designated for Asthi Visarjan for a convenient and customary immersion of the ashes of the departed soul. The management also follows proper environmental norms to ensure clean and safe ghat at all times.
Pure Drinking water
Pure and Clean RO filtered drinking water is available at all times for the visitors. The management takes care of periodic cleaning of the water storage tanks to ensure safe water availability at all times. The society also provides water glasses and bottles at the cremation place.
Parking
Nigam Bodh Ghat has ample parking space to accommodate approx 200 cars and 500 two-wheelers . There are parking assistants who help in organising the easy movement of vehicles.
pandits
Professional and experienced priest/pandits are easily available who can perform all pre and post funeral rituals methodically. They are experienced to conduct all the customary rituals of different sects so that you are able to perform the last rights in a traditional way.
Washrooms
Clean male and female washrooms are available at the Ghat which are cleaned regularly to maintain cleanliness and convenience to the visitors.
Prayer meeting hall
Nigam Bodh Ghat also has 2 air conditioned halls - Birla Baradari (Capacity 450 persons) and Prarthana Bhawan (Capacity 250 People) where post funeral rituals like Kriya/Rasam Pagri can be organised. In addition these are 7 waiting Halls with a capacity of 100 people each, for the convenience of visitors.
Death Certificate
Guidance for issuance of Death Certificates and Birth Registration by Municipal Corporation of Delhi at mcdonline.nic.in/ is provided by the Nigam Bodh Ghat office.
Air Conditioned Waiting hall
The premises also has clean, spacious and comfortable 7 air conditioned waiting halls, with a capacity of 100 people each, for the convenience of visitors.
mortuary box
For preserving the body for a limited period, Mortuary Box is also available at Nigambodh Ghat at a nominal cost of Rs. 1000 per night ( excluding the Ambulance Charges )

Air Conditioned Halls
Nigam Bodh Ghat also has 2 halls where post funerals rituals like Kriya/Rasam Pagri can be organised. The bigger hall can accommodate approx. 300 people whereas the smaller hall has a capacity of approx. 150 people.
